This store is named after Earnest Hemmingway and his first wife, Hadley Richardson. It’s a wonderful, quiet space, filled with an amazing variety of new, used, vintage, and antique books. The store opened in 2016 and has already built a great reputation for friendly customer service. They have an excellent selection of books available, but if they don’t have a particular book you’re looking for, they will try and order it for you.
The books are organized alphabetically and by genre, with separate sections to house the vintage and antique books. It’s one of the best places to buy books in Alabama, and worth a visit if you want a special book. Ernest and Hadley Booksellers is located at 1928 7th Street.

Pause is a must-visit if you’re looking for women’s clothes. They have an extensive range of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories for all occasions. They also stock a good selection of girls’ and plus-size women’s clothing. All the items here are carefully selected by the owner/manager for their fun, unique look.
